What is a fish farm?

A fish farm is where fish are raised for food.  This area of agriculture is known as aquaculture.  The fish are raised in tanks or in ponds and sold to people or companies.  

Some fish that are raised on fish farms are:

  • Tilapia
  • Cod
  • Catfish
  • Salmon  
  • Carp
